Clear, fair policies for our handcrafted photo prints
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our handcrafted metal photo prints. We've designed our policies to be fair, transparent, and customer-focused while protecting both you and our small family business.
You have up to 30 days from the date of delivery to return your items for a full refund.
Unlike many competitors, our 30-day returns policy applies even to our personalised and custom print items. It's hugely important to us that our customers are happy with the prints they receive.
Items must be returned in their original, unused condition to qualify for a refund.
Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned item.
We currently offer delivery within the UK through our website. Some items may be available internationally through our Etsy store.
We primarily ship through Royal Mail, with some courier options also available. We regularly evaluate our shipping partners to provide the best value delivery prices.
Instead of using free shipping thresholds, we try to offer the best value on each product by sharing delivery costs between the customer and ourselves, keeping delivery charges as low as possible.
We take full responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit. Please report any damage immediately upon opening your order. For suspected lost deliveries, we may ask you to wait additional days according to courier guidelines before processing a refund.
Most custom or personalised prints are created within 2 working days. During peak periods like Christmas or Father's Day, production may take longer. We'll always advise if new orders will take longer than our standard timeframe.
We offer an optional order confirmation service for a small additional fee, allowing you to review and approve how everything looks before printing begins.
You can request to cancel your order until production starts. Once work has begun on your custom print, cancellation is no longer possible.
We accept all major debit cards, credit cards, and payment providers. Payment is charged at the time of order.
We offer optional upgrade services including priority production, faster delivery, and tracked delivery options for an additional fee.
Please ensure you provide high-quality, high-resolution photos, especially for larger prints. Photos sent through messaging apps like WhatsApp or Telegram get compressed and reduced in quality.
If you're unsure about your photo quality, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to check.
Your personal photos are treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. We only use your images for the specific products you've ordered.
We comply with UK GDPR regulations and only collect information necessary to process your orders and communicate with you about your purchase.
Customer photos are securely stored only for the duration needed to complete your order, then permanently deleted from our systems.
PrintPhotos is a small family business based in South East Kent, England, specialising in handcrafted metal photo prints using sublimation printing technology.
We are not currently VAT registered.
We do not offer any age-restricted prints. All our products are suitable for all ages.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.
By uploading photos to our service, you confirm that you own the rights to these images or have permission to use them. You retain all rights to your photos.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images (excluding customer photos), is our property and protected by copyright law.
While we strive for perfection in every print, we cannot guarantee that our service will meet all your requirements or be completely error-free.
Our liability to you for any loss or damage is limited to the value of the specific order in question. We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or supplier issues.
As a small business, we rely on courier services to deliver our products to you. While we dispatch all orders within our stated timeframes, we cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by courier services once items have left our workshop.
Our responsibility ends when we have produced and dispatched your order within our stated production timeframes. Any subsequent delays are the responsibility of the chosen courier service.
